Information you share

When you send an inquiry, I collect your name, email, and the project details you provide, such as your location, rooms, preferred service, and consultation type. During a booked project, you may also share a questionnaire, home photos, and a sample delivery address.

How I use it

I use this information to respond to you, arrange your consultation, prepare recommendations, deliver included samples, and keep project records. The website inquiry form does not collect payment card details. Please don’t include payment information or other sensitive details in your inquiry.

Who has access

Website hosting and storage providers process data to operate the site. FormSubmit processes contact-form details to email your inquiry to Room for Hue. Email and sample delivery providers may receive the information needed to communicate with you or deliver your samples. I do not sell your personal information. I will ask your permission before sharing identifiable photos of your home in my portfolio or marketing.

Website statistics

I use basic website statistics to see how many people visit, which pages they view, and whether they click the guide download or a package booking button. These statistics also show which websites or campaigns bring visitors here and whether they use a phone, tablet, or computer.

A random code saved in your browser helps estimate repeat visits. That code and website activity records are kept for up to 90 days. Records include the pages visited, the visit time, and the source of the visit.

These statistics do not include your name, email, inquiry message, or the full address of the webpage you came from. They are not sent to advertising companies, and this site has no added advertising trackers.

Spam protection

To help prevent spam, the site saves a coded version of your IP address (your internet connection’s address) with inquiries and website activity. Hosting providers may also process IP addresses and records of website requests to keep the site running and secure.

Your privacy choices

The website’s statistics tracking honors your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control settings when enabled. You can also block tracking through your browser. Clearing browser storage removes the saved code; a new one may be created on your next visit unless tracking is blocked.

Social media links and other outside websites have their own privacy policies.

Your records and questions

Project and inquiry information is kept for client communication and business records. Email darci@roomforhue.com to ask about your information or request a correction or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for accounting or legal requirements.
